Supported environments

Brief

This document describes the supported environments by each version of abicloud. There are two different types of infrastructures to be considered:

  • The server infrastructure, based on Java.
  • The node infrastructure.

Server infrastructure

Supported operating systems

  • Linux
    • Ubuntu
    • CentOS
  • Microsoft Windows XP
  • Mac OS X

Node infrastructure

Supported hypervisors

abiCloud 0.8.0 and 0.7.0

  • Virtualbox (2.2.x release)
  • Libvirt
    • KVM (Tested)
    • XEN (Not tested Yet)

abiCloud 0.6.0

  • Virtualbox (2.1.x release)

Supported operating systems

abiCloud 0.8.0 and 0.7.0

  • Linux:
    • Ubuntu (Bug detected and reported with VirtualBox + ubuntu)
    • CentOS

abiCloud 0.6.0

  • Not required

      Now we are testing the libvirt plugin. I suspect that in the next version, the plugin will be released.
